PRODUCT FEATURES
TYPES OF APPLICATIONS
Casting Epoxy 50 has been formulated for casting at large quantities in thickness as opposed to coating epoxy in very thin layers, it is best suited to create solid objects or as adhesion between objects in thick layers with unlimited total size when stacking layers.
Paperweights, Crafting, River tables, Solid Casting, Showpieces, Jewellery, Lamps, Sculptures are some of the uses this product excels at compared to others, its UV resistance and water-like transparency make it ideal for such projects.
Indoor use is encouraged as Epoxies being aromatic resin are subject to ambering with exposure to UV light, this product however has a formulation to combat ambering by its UV resistance and prolongs the clarity of the final look.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Pour total weight in a 2:1 ratio by volume (2 parts Resin A to 1 part Hardener B) and mix for 3-4 minutes at slow speed evenly, mix well, ensuring the inside walls and base of mixing bucket has been thoroughly mixed, Pour into a new container and mix for a further minute.
For best results place into a vacuum chamber and extract as much air from the mixture as possible (blend SINDEC pigments in liquid form or powder metallic colours desired during the mixing phase).
